How do I use Pequity Approvals?

Pequity Approvals is designed to bridge the gap between ATS and compensation workflows for New Hire and other compensation HR decisions. 

Pequity Approvals combines data integration, data analysis, and data sharing to create flexible and unique approval decision chains for your HR and compensation teams. Approvals include the follow features and capabilities:

  • Greenhouse ATS Integration
  • Configurable Decision/Approval Chains
  • Configurable Comp Tables for each Use Case
  • Configurable Data and Formulaic fields

Optimize your every day compensation decisions by configuring your own Comp Table to meet your team's needs. Let's get started by configuring any Data Fields you'd like to include or calculate.

DATA FIELDS

Once you've determined which data fields you'd like to include or calculate for your use case - let's add them to a Comp Table!

COMP TABLES

  1. Determine the Matching Criteria and Name to trigger your Comp Table using:
    1. Comp Table Name
    2. Job Family Group>Job Family**
    3. Level
    4. Geo>Location**

** Previously Job Family Group>Job Family and Geo>Location were separate matching criteria in Pequity. To streamline triggers and matching, Pequity now lists these as combined fields in Approvals. Reach out to support@getpequity.com if you'd like help reconfiguring your current Pequity ranges.

APPROVAL CHAINS

Admins have the ability to create self-serve approval workflows—no engineering help needed.

Create Approval Chains to automatically route your compensation decision through based on your individual Company's hierarchy and use case needs. Unique approval chains can be triggered using the following default criteria: 

  • Job Family
  • Level
  • Location
  • Custom fields: add your unique custom fields to expand your Approval Chain trigger to include Manager, Decision type, or any other criteria.

ATS / GREENHOUSE INTEGRATION

The Pequity Chrome Extension enables recruiters to auto-fill key information directly from ATS records into the approval flow. Currently Pequity Approvals is optimized for Greenhouse ATS,but support@getpequity.com can be contacted to requet more information about other ATS capabilities.


Once fully integrated, Pequity will automatically sync with indicated fields including:

  • Candidate Name
  • Candidate Email
  • Location
  • Department
  • Greenhouse Link

CREATE AND SEND AN APPROVAL

Once configured, create and send your approval through the predetermined chain to get full stakeholder review and confirmation to make your offer today 🎉

After an approval has been sent, your Approval Chain Approvers will receive an email notification that they have an Approval to review. They can then Approve or Reject the offer.

Even after an Approval has been sent, the owner or a Pequity Admin can edit the Approval at any time and resend it through the Approval Chain.
