Pequity + ADP Acquisition: Customer FAQs
About the acquisition
Q: What’s happening with Pequity?
Pequity has been acquired by ADP, one of the world’s most trusted providers of payroll, HR, and workforce solutions. This partnership allows us to scale faster, strengthen integrations, and deliver an even better experience — while keeping everything you love about Pequity the same.
Q: Why did Pequity decide to sell to ADP?
ADP shares our mission to simplify and modernize compensation management. After years of customer feedback and collaboration, it became clear that pairing Pequity’s flexible, user-first software combined with ADP’s scale and infrastructure would help us serve you even better — without compromising speed, innovation, or personal touch.
Q: When does the acquisition take effect?
The acquisition closed on October 28, 2025. You’ll notice no changes to your account, service, or support after that date.
Impact to customers
Q: Has my contract or pricing changed?
No. Your existing contract, pricing, and terms remain the same at this time. Your service will continue seamlessly.
Q: Do I need to sign anything new?
No, your current agreements remain in place.
Q: Will Pequity’s support team change?
No. You’ll continue working with the same team you know today. Email addresses, Slack channels, and ticketing processes will all remain unchanged for now. Any changes (if relevant) would be communicated in advance.
Q: Will my data or account move to ADP’s systems?
Not immediately. Pequity will continue operating as an independent product under ADP, and your data will remain securely stored in the same environments and infrastructure you’ve always used. Any future migration (if ever relevant) would be communicated in advance.
Q: Will there be downtime or service interruptions?
No. Your Pequity access, integrations, and workflows will continue to run as usual. Our engineering and operations teams are dedicated to maintaining service continuity.
Q: I’m already an ADP customer, what does this mean?
For now, nothing changes. You’ll continue using Pequity exactly as you do today, and your existing ADP services will continue as usual.
In the coming days and weeks, ADP will reach out directly to mutual customers to share more about how Pequity and ADP will work together and what new opportunities this partnership may bring. Until then, your support for both Pequity and ADP remain the same.
Our shared goal is to make it even easier for you to manage compensation seamlessly alongside your ADP systems — and we’ll be sure to keep you informed as details are available.
Q: Is Pequity only available to ADP customers going forward?
Pequity will remain available as a standalone product, just as it is today. You’ll still be able to use Pequity independently or alongside whichever HR or payroll systems your company prefers.
Data, privacy, and security
Q: How does this affect Pequity’s data security and privacy standards?
Pequity will continue to uphold all of our existing security, privacy, and compliance standards (including SOC 2). As part of ADP, we’ll gain additional support and resources to strengthen these protections even further.
Q: Will ADP have access to our company’s data?
Yes, Pequity is now part of ADP, and your data remains protected under Pequity’s same strict access and confidentiality controls.
Product and roadmap
Q: Will Pequity still exist as a standalone product?
Yes. Pequity will continue to operate under its current name and platform for the foreseeable future. Over time, you may see enhanced integrations between Pequity and ADP products — but our goal is to make those additive, not disruptive.
Q: Will the Pequity product roadmap change?
Our core roadmap remains intact. Joining ADP will help us accelerate improvements and deliver more of what customers have asked for — like deeper integrations, better analytics, and expanded support for global compensation programs.
Q: Will we still be able to request new features and give feedback?
Absolutely. Your feedback remains central to how we build. You’ll continue working directly with our product and customer success teams to shape the future of Pequity.
Relationships and communication
Q: Who should I contact if I have questions about the merger?
You can continue reaching out to your usual Pequity customer success manager or key contact, and you can also email support@pequity.com. We’re here to answer any questions and ensure a smooth transition.
Q: Will Pequity still support my upcoming compensation cycle?
Yes — your service and support will remain fully operational. If you have a cycle launching soon, you’ll continue to work with the same team and timelines as always.
Q: Will Pequity’s billing or payment process change?
Not right now. You’ll continue receiving invoices and making payments the same way you always have. If there are any updates in the future, we’ll communicate them clearly and well in advance.
Looking ahead
Q: What does this mean for the future of Pequity?
It means growth and scale. With ADP’s reach and infrastructure, Pequity will be able to invest even more in product innovation, customer experience, and integrations — while preserving the team, culture, and responsiveness that brought us here.
Q: What should customers do next?
Nothing changes for you at this time — no new systems, contracts, or actions required. Keep using Pequity exactly as you do today, and look forward to even better things to come. If there are any updates in the future, we’ll communicate them clearly and in advance.
