Onboarding Pequity: Next Steps & Guides

Welcome to Pequity! 🎉 We’re excited to get you started. Below is an outline of the key steps and resources you’ll use as you configure your account, set up integrations, and prepare for your first data import.

Step 1: Setting up Admin Access

Once you’ve been granted access to the platform (keep an eye out for a welcome email within 24 hours), you’ll want to set up the right access for your team.

  • Navigate to Settings → Access Settings in the left-hand navigation bar.

  • Add admins by entering their email addresses and assigning the Admin role.

  • Admins will have full permissions to configure data, manage integrations, and oversee comp cycles.

  • We recommend assigning at least two admins to ensure coverage during busy cycles.

Step 2: Configuring Data 

Now that you have your admins assigned, you can begin uploading data!

  • Submit your data sets through the Data app located in the left-hand navigation bar.

  • Configure People columns and settings to adjust how information displays for you and your users.

  • Use the templates provided below to ensure your data is formatted correctly.

Step 3: Integrating your HRIS 

After your data configuration is complete, you can move forward with your HRIS integration.

  • Review our SFTP setup guide for step-by-step instructions.

  • Finalizing your data configuration first is critical, as this ensures Pequity receives a clean, accurate data report for People updates.

Step 4: Setting up your SSO 

If your team would like to set up Single Sign-On (SSO), Pequity supports Okta and other authenticators.

  • Use our instructions to configure Okta SSO.

  • If you’ll be using a different authenticator, please let us know so we can provide additional guidance.

Step 5: Requesting Support

For the fastest support, always CC Pequity Support (support@getpequity.com) on all emails. This automatically creates a support ticket so our team can track and respond promptly.
