How to Set a Compensation Element as Currency or Numeric Value in Pequity

In Pequity Compensation Cycles, you can control whether each compensation element is displayed as a currency amount or as a plain numeric value.

Why You Might Use This

If you’re planning certain elements—such as equity refresh grants—you might prefer to plan in units instead of dollars. This setting lets you tailor the display to match how you want to budget and review the data.

Steps to Change a Compensation Element Display

  1. Go to Settings

    • Navigate to your Settings within the Pequity Comp Cycle.

  2. Locate Compensation Elements in General Settings

    • Locate the compensation element you want to adjust.

  3. Update Currency Display

    • Deselect the Show Currency option if you want the element to display as a numeric value (e.g., units) instead of a currency amount.

  4. Save Changes

    • Once saved, Pequity will:

      • Remove the currency symbol from the budget display.

      • Update the planning experience so no currency symbol is shown.

Example

If you deselect Show Currency for an equity refresh element:

  • Budgets will be displayed in units (e.g., 1,000) instead of USD 1,000.

  • The planning workbook will also show units without a currency symbol.
