How can I create a new role for a Comp Cycle?
Creating custom roles in Pequity allows you to control access and permissions for different users during your compensation cycle. Follow the steps below to create a new role and configure it according to your needs.
Step 1: Navigate to the Roles Settings

Log in to your Pequity account as an Admin

Locate the cycle you would like to create a new role for

Click on Settings on the upper right hand corner of the screen
- Select the Roles tab on the left
On this page, you can view all available roles and manage the functionalities that can be enabled or disabled for each.
Step 2: Create New Role
- Click on the "+Add Role" button
- Type in the name for the new role (i.e HRBP)
- Click Save
Step 3: Configure the Layout and Functionalities for the Role
- Select a Layout – Choose an existing layout for your new role.
- Tip: If you need a custom layout, you can refer to this article for instructions on creating one.
- Set Functionalities – Toggle the functionalities you’d like this role to have by enabling or disabling them as needed.
