Granting Access to Range Data for Team Members
This guide walks you through how to grant a team member access to range data in your system. You can either assign access based on an existing employee's access level or create a custom access view.
Step 1: Go to Settings
Navigate to your Settings page from the main dashboard.
Step 2: Click on "Team Member"
In the sidebar, click Team Member to access the user list.
Step 3: Find the User
Locate the user you want to update. Under the Ranges column, you’ll see their current status (e.g., "No Access" or "Restricted Access").
Step 4: Click on "Choose Access"
Click the dropdown under the Ranges column next to the user’s name.
You may either:
A. Select Access from a Similar Employee
Use the dropdown list to select the access settings of an existing employee.
OR
B. Create a New Access View
Click "+ Add New" to create a custom access level.
B.1: Open Range Settings
Clicking "+ Add New" opens a new tab directing you to the Range Settings page. Click "+ Create Ranges Access" to begin.
B.2: Fill in Access Details
A permission panel will slide out from the right side of your screen. You’ll need to:
- Enter a Name for the access view
- Select the Visibility Level
- Choose the appropriate Range Permissions
You can filter access by:
- Job Family
- Level
- Geography (Geo)
- Columns
B.3: Assign the New Access View
Once the custom view is saved, return to the Team Member page and select it from the dropdown list for the employee.
Step 5: Click "Save"
After selecting the appropriate access view, click Save to apply the changes.

The selected user will now have access to the assigned compensation range data according to the defined permissions.
