July 2026: What's New in Comp Cycle

We've shipped 8 improvements across cycle setup, wave management, planning, exports, and the workbook experience. Everything below is live in your account now, no setup required!

  • Clone Cycles with no preset Planning Group/Wave Users

Admins are now able to clear all previous users from a cloned cycle at the time of cloning. Need an admin copy or ready to start a new cycle with no other user visibility? Now you can with a click of a button!

  • Clear Wave Users in one click

Admins can now clear the users from an entire wave with the click of a button and move planning groups between waves.

  • Select which columns to include in Exported Reports

Create custom exports based on your Comp Cycle columns by selecting only the fields you need at the time of export

  • Inline error preview for Planning Group bulk import

Importing your Planning Groups to a cycle are now easier to manage with inline error previews. Go from loading Planning Groups to assigning them in your Employee Workbook in seconds!

  • Toggle user visibility to inactive Planning Groups on and off

Control user visibility to inactive Planning Groups while finalizing your Comp Cycle configuration or when you'd like to remove user access to Planning Group updates.

  • Easy to identify Editable Input fields for all users

All editable cells in the workbook now display a subtle border outline, making it immediately clear which fields accept input across every layout. Fields without an outline are either read-only or calculated automatically.

  • Minimize or collapse Budget Tracker view in user display

Each budget tracker in the workbook header now has a collapse/expand chevron button. Clicking it hides the tracker's breakdown rows, freeing up vertical space so planners can focus on the employee data below.

  • Default Over/Under Recommendation badge in Comp Element Fields

Comp element cells now show a contextual badge directly below the entered value, indicating how the input compares to the system recommendation.

  • Dynamic Validation rule settings

Admins can now set validation rules to define minimum or maximum values for input fields.
